Checked my spot in south Rockford today, found 2 decent sized Morels, growing next to some other random mushrooms righ on the edge of the path by ash tree. they are about 4 inches each. slightly dry but not crumbling. hoping this is promise for more to come, and not just cleaning up ones ive missed.
