Snail on morel mushrooms, painted and drawn on an Artist’s Conk Mushroom ( Ganoderma applanatum). The artist conk mushroom used as the canvas for this piece is attached to the original bark which Megan discovered while hiking the West Virginia mountains.. The snail used for the inspiration of this painting was photographed by Megan while hunting for drift wood on the Shenandoah river. This is truly a beautiful and unique work of art. It measures 7 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall.
