Description
The naturally formed twist on this dogwood hiking stick makes it truly, one-of-a-kind. The twist was formed by continuous tree growth while a vine was wrapped tightly around the limb. It took many years for this unique and beautiful shape to occur. The Hand-carved morel at the top of the stick stands 4.75 inches tall. Dogwood is a very tough but light wood making a very maneuverable and useful hiking stick. This hiking stick weighs only a little over a 1/2 lb but will surely last a lifetime. A leather hand strap is included to ensure this hiking stick will be a useful tool for even the most discriminating morel hunter!
The hand-carved morel at the top of the stick was produced by award winning artist, Peter Conley. This is a very light (0.6 Lbs) but sturdy hiking stick sure to last a lifetime.
