"text":"<p>We purchased our house last year that has 11 acres of woods. I tried to search last year but the land was neglected for many years and the leaves and debris made it impossible to see anything. We cleaned up quite a bit of it and control burned the excess leaves last summer. This evening my husband and I decided to go for a walk in the woods to see how our fern gully was looking and as I was walking I caught a glimpse of something and went over to see what was coming up and to my surprise it was a bunch of morels!<br />Weather has been real wet and on the cooler side at night only 40's-50s. They were growing in a area that did not get a lot of sun, soil was a mix of rotting wood, leaves with loose soil underneath.
