"text":"<p>6 little greys - 6 grey morel found near what is suspected to be a silver maple tree. Still very early in the season. Checked a honey hole in Fort Ashby on 04/03/2026 and nothing; Although they are black so they might just pop later in the season.<br />It’s going to be a good season!! <br />Soil temp: upper mid 40s<br />Method of extracting: Pinch at base; same as previous years.<br />Air Moisture: 61-63%<br />Personal notes: It appears that this species could have used one more week or two for more growth.
